Do you know how many kinds of religion exist in this world? Have you ever thought which one is true? There must be one true God who created us, the earth and the universe for His purpose. It means that the rest of religion must be false. Actually, the true religion cannot be called as “religion” because men created the term of “religion” by creating gods for themselves from their perspectives. Human beings have innate which makes them to seek God because He created them in that way. I believe that there is one God who is our Creator and Lord.
Throughout the history, people keep seeking God but have been failed because of their sins. The consequence of sin is death as you see the movie Baraka directed by Ron Fricke. In this movie, you see the sequences of “morning meditations” that people around world are seeking God by doing penance themselves. They try to clean their mind and soul. One scene shows that a lady kisses a special thing like a big sliver lock. It seems that she wish dreams come true by making it holy and idolizing it.
Poverty, war, environmental disaster and human suffering are consequences of sins we made. We were created to rule over this world. But, we are suffering due to what we have done like worshiping idols and not loving others.
People try to reach God, but everyone is sinned in His perspective. There is no way to solve our problems and sins through our good deeds and actions. Only God can come to our lives and save us. So, He died on the cross and covered our sins with his blood. If you believe that, we are saved.
